W24 is a Local cable TV station from Vienna and since 10 March 2005 as a Vienna information channel in the Vienna cable network UPC Telekabel as well as on the Internet on the air. A relaunch of the station was presented to the public at the Vienna Odeontheater on April 11, 2012.W24 is the only cable transmitter owned by the City of Vienna that offers information around the clock. In addition to current information on topics relevant to Vienna, the station also produces specially produced news. At 6 o'clock in the morning, W24 will bring blocks of 15 minutes each, which will inform about city events. In addition, the program includes live lime and TV programs on leisure, culture, communal information, business, and sports. The Wednesday night is all about W24 Special, where weekly documentaries are shown and discussed a round of experts on the main topic.
