Perry Newspapers, Inc., publishes the Taco Times on Wednesdays and the Perry News-Herald on Fridays, both offering county-wide coverage of:

governmental meetings,
school activities,
sports,
birth and wedding announcements,
Taylor County history,
and events of community concern.
The newspapers circulate to 5,100 households in the county, and boast healthy rack sales too. Out-of-county sales take these community newspapers to 35 states and international addresses as well.

The newspaper’s offices are located at 123 S. Jefferson St. in the downtown district.
