The Founder of Daily Mahasib is Mr Zafar Hijazi and Its Chief Editor is Ms Zahida Perveen. It has eight pages and the cost of this Newspaper is 10 Pakistani Rupees. The Daily Mahasib newspaper was founded by Mr Zafar Hijazi (senior Chartered Accountant and ex Commissioner of Securities and Exchange Commission of Pakistan “SECP” in 1996), who was the man behind the success of Daily Observer and Al- Akbar. Hijazi launched his own newspaper in 1995 from Rawalpindi the Daily Asas. It was a successful newspaper but due to differences, he left the newspaper after one year. Mr Zafar Hijazi was the well-known person in the newspaper industry.Daily Mahasib covers an area starting from Bhimber of Azad Kashmir to Hunza valley of Northern Areas.
