The Bärnerbär is a free scoreboard for the city and region of Bern , published by IMS Medien AG. From 1983 until the end of June 2010, it was normally published twice a week - just like the official Berne publication Organ Anzeiger Region Bern , but one day earlier: on Tuesday and Thursday. Since June 29, 2010, he appears only on Tuesdays, with the subtitle Bern's weekly. His editorial content is essentially limited to local tabloid journalism with numerous picture reports of events, portraits and interviews as well as a detailed event section. The centerpiece is the whispering bag, with "facts from the rumor mill". In addition to print, the current issue as an e-paper is also available on the website as well as an archive of past editions. From November 1999 to February 2012, Matthias Mast led the editorial team. In almost every issue , he commentedon the Bernese as the Swiss policy and the Classe politique of his personal appearance. Between 2011 and the beginning of 2016, Jean-Claude Galli was Editor-in-Chief, then Markus Ehinger. Since November 2017, Yves Schott has been managing the editorial team. Publishing Director is Dominik Rothenbühler. For multi-page interviews and reports, freelance employees - formerly Barbara and Markus Traber , for example - could once again be obliged. Heading Polo Sophie gave each a new proverbial wisdom of "Poloet" Polo Hofer , who has published these sayings in the previous three volumes. For years, a cartoon by Ted Scapa appeared weekly. Since January 2017, the Bärner bear belongs to IMS Medien AG. In June 2017, the newspaper was Bernerbär in Bärnerbär renamed and changed its layout.
