Founded almost 35 years ago, the feminist magazine an.schläge is an unprecedented project in the German-speaking media landscape.Even if central demands of the women's movement have reached the medial male and mainstream in this period - unfortunately, we are still a long way from an equal society.The an.schläge, therefore, illuminate the current political, social and cultural events from a consistently feminist perspective. The magazine also picks up topics that are otherwise rare: We report on social protest and "politics from below", write about the body, sex and self-determination, analyze the developments in the new world of work, scrutinize scientific discourses and portray upcoming ones female artists from art & pop.
