Daily Aftab is one of the oldest publication in the country. Daily Aftab was launched by Mr.Mumtaz Thahir in 6th september 1975. Under his editorship Aftab played a vital role in the Nizam-e-Mustafa movement. It achieved the hallmark in circulation figures of about eighty thousand copies daily. he started daily Aftab from Lahore on 14th August 1983 successfully.
